Thank you for your interest in Saint Patrick School. We offer programs from 3-year-old preschool through 8th grade, focusing on the intellectual, spiritual, and physical well-being of our students.

The school requires that an entrant for kindergarten be five years old by September 1. No testing is mandated for kindergarten entrance, but screening is done prior to the start of school to evaluate physical development, ability to listen, and follow directions, along with fine and gross motor skills.

Saint Patrick School admits students of any race, sex, color, national origin, age (according to age requirements), or disability and are accorded the rights and privileges of all students.

Registration Fee: A $100 non-refundable, per student registration fee is required and may be paid online via credit card (including an additional $5 processing fee) or by check (payable to Saint Patrick School). Checks can be mailed to the school office at 87 Marsh Drive, Carlisle, PA, 17015

Tuition

In order to provide and maintain high-quality education for all students, it is necessary to charge tuition to help offset the parish financial responsibility to the school. Parish families unable to meet the financial requirements may request tuition assistance prior to their child’s admittance into the new school year. All arrangements are strictly confidential.

Saint Patrick School uses FACTS for its tuition collection. An invoice by email or mail, depending on your preference, will be sent from FACTS each month with the tuition amount due. If you choose to pay annually, you will receive one invoice by email or mail. A 10-month payment plan is available from July through April. All tuition must be paid by the 5th or the 20th of the month, depending on the date you chose in your tuition payment agreement.

Helpful Tips about FACTS

  • You may make payments in U.S. dollars by check, money order, Automatic Clearing House (ACH) or accepted credit or debit card types. If you use a credit card a 2.9 percent fee will be assessed.
  • Payments received after the due date will be assessed a late fee from FACTS.
  • Your monthly or annual tuition payment will be shown on your welcome letter.

Three ways to make tuition payments to FACTS:

  1. Make a check payable to FACTS and mail to: FACTS Mgmt., P.O. Box 2597, Omaha, NE 68103.
  2. Pay online at https://online.factsmgt.com/signin/3N8FH and enter your Username and password.
  3. Pay by debit card or your checking account by calling FACTS AT 1-866-412-4637.

The PATS (Parents Action Team of Saint Patrick School) annual fee will be assessed on the first tuition payment.

Registration Fees

Registration fees are assessed at the time of registration and are non-refundable unless the family is moving from the area, or in cases of need such as serious illness, or a wage earner parent becoming disabled. Tuition for new students registering after the school year has started will be prorated.

Parish Subsidy

Saint Patrick Church provides a subsidy to the school to help make Catholic education affordable for Catholic families.

Active parishioners receive a significant benefit off the tuition for each child they have attending Saint Patrick School. An active parishioner is defined as one who is registered at the parish; one who is actively practicing the Catholic faith as evidenced in weekly attendance at Mass, participation in the sacramental life of the parish, and in school and parish activities; and one who contributes financially on some level to the church.

Scholarships
Saint Patrick School is blessed to offer a variety of scholarship and assistance options to our families. For more information about scholarship availability, please contact the school office.

Scholarships

Saint Katharine Drexel Scholarship: This fund is available for financially needy students. Anyone wishing to be a “tuition angel” can donate to this tax-deductible fund. This is an effective way to help us keep our commitment to provide a Catholic education to everyone who wants one.

Neumann Scholarship: The Diocese of Harrisburg, in response to the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit Law (EITC), created the Neumann Scholarship Foundation. The EITC program provides tax credits to businesses that contribute to qualified scholarship organizations.

The Neumann Scholarship Foundation has been approved by the State of Pennsylvania as a qualified scholarship organization. All scholarships offered by the Foundation are provided in accord with the laws governing this program.

Scholarships are offered to qualified students who are residents of Pennsylvania and attending Catholic schools in the Diocese of Harrisburg, on a basis of need. In order to meet the state requirements, the scholarship organizations must demonstrate that families meet the state eligibility requirements.

The Neumann Scholarship Foundation has contracted with FACTS tuition management to process the information provided by families applying for scholarships. FACTS will provide the Neumann Scholarship Foundation with a relative ranking of need among the eligible families. The Foundation will award scholarships on the basis of this information. Scholarships are available for grades preK to 8.

Transfer Scholarships: Saint Patrick School offers a special transfer scholarship to local public or homeschooled students entering grades 1-6. Scholarships provide $1,000 off the first year’s tuition and $500 off the second year, for each child who transfers. Receipt of a transfer scholarship does not disqualify families from needs-based financial assistance, if necessary.

Other Scholarships: We usually are the recipients of other smaller scholarships from generous donors. We use the same FACTS program used by the Neumann Scholarship Foundation to determine need.
