Thank you for your interest in Saint Patrick School. We offer programs from 3-year-old preschool through 8th grade, focusing on the intellectual, spiritual, and physical well-being of our students.

The school requires that an entrant for kindergarten be five years old by September 1. No testing is mandated for kindergarten entrance, but screening is done prior to the start of school to evaluate physical development, ability to listen, and follow directions, along with fine and gross motor skills.

Saint Patrick School admits students of any race, sex, color, national origin, age (according to age requirements), or disability and are accorded the rights and privileges of all students.

Registration Fee: A $100 non-refundable, per student registration fee is required and may be paid online via credit card (including an additional $5 processing fee) or by check (payable to Saint Patrick School). Checks can be mailed to the school office at 87 Marsh Drive, Carlisle, PA, 17015

5.) The Application Process is 8 Steps counting the payment step, each step will save as you advance to the next step. You are able to use the 8-step toolbar across the top of the page to toggle back to a previous step and make any necessary edits. However, please note, once you complete the process of uploading your required financial documents it will lock the application from all editing. Finally, once STS has received all of the required financial documentation from you, STS’s application processors will verify the data and review your entire application per Pennsylvania State Law to determine your eligibility for any state programs. You will be notified directly via email upon the completion of this verification/review process. In addition,  the results will also be available to your School or any Scholarship Organization associated with the scholarship. **It is important to note that STS is only contracted to handle the verification and eligibility determination, therefore,  DOES NOT have any input, control, or insight into scholarship amounts or when they may be awarded.

The PATS (Parents Action Team of Saint Patrick School) annual fee will be assessed on the first tuition payment.

Registration Fees

Registration fees are assessed at the time of registration and are non-refundable unless the family is moving from the area, or in cases of need such as serious illness, or a wage earner parent becoming disabled. An active parishioner is defined as one who is registered at the parish; one who is actively practicing the Catholic faith as evidenced in weekly attendance at Mass, participation in the sacramental life of the parish, and in school and parish activities; and one who contributes financially on some level to the church.

Scholarships

Saint Katharine Drexel Scholarship: This fund is available for financially needy students. Anyone wishing to be a “tuition angel” can donate to this tax-deductible fund. This is an effective way to help us keep our commitment to provide a Catholic education to everyone who wants one.

Neumann Scholarship: The Diocese of Harrisburg, in response to the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit Law (EITC), created the Neumann Scholarship Foundation. The EITC program provides tax credits to businesses that contribute to qualified scholarship organizations.

The Neumann Scholarship Foundation has been approved by the State of Pennsylvania as a qualified scholarship organization. All scholarships offered by the Foundation are provided in accord with the laws governing this program.

Scholarships are offered to qualified students who are residents of Pennsylvania and attending Catholic schools in the Diocese of Harrisburg, on a basis of need. In order to meet the state requirements, the scholarship organizations must demonstrate that families meet the state eligibility requirements. The Foundation will award scholarships on the basis of this information provided to Simple Tuition Solutions. Scholarships are available for grades PreK to 8.

Other Scholarships: We usually are the recipients of other smaller scholarships from generous donors. We will use the same Simple Tuition Solutions program used by the Neumann Scholarship Foundation to determine need.

Tuition

In order to provide and maintain high-quality education for all students, it is necessary to charge tuition to help offset the parish’s financial responsibility to the school.

Parish families unable to meet the financial requirements may request tuition assistance prior to their child’s admittance into the new school year. All arrangements are strictly confidential.
