The Choir Music program at Saint Patrick School is designed to enhance the musical, creative, and expressive qualities of all students. Musical opportunities are provided for every child to learn the basic skills of singing, reading music, developing song repertoire, broadening listening skills, and experiencing the interrelated nature of music with other cultures and content areas.
We feel the music program at Saint Patrick School helps students gain independence with music skills and secure their knowledge of musical concepts and historical background through experience, exploration, and self-expression.
Saint Patrick School has many opportunities for students to engage in a vocal experience, including:
Saint Patrick Middle School Concert Choir (after-school vocal group for grades 5-8)
Elementary Leprechaun Concert Choir (after-school vocal group for grades 3-4)
Boys Choir | An after-school vocal group for boys grades 4-8.
Mass Choir | A vocal group that sings for our school Masses and Holy Days of Obligation.
Classroom work centers on active participation in music-making, requiring awareness of self in creating successful musical expression.
Winter and Spring Concerts provide public performance opportunities for the School Choirs and Band/Instrumental Ensembles.
