Educational technology is used to reinforce content presented in the core curriculum and for direct instruction on the proper and ethical use of technology. Students in grades K-2 utilize an iPad. Students in grades 3-8 primarily utilize a Chromebook. All classrooms are equipped with instructional technology such as a SMART Board and projector, interactive digital display, TV Media Solution, and other modern educational technology tools.
We annual technology in-service to provide continuing education to our teachers. The technology curriculum for students is in accordance with the Pennsylvania State Technology Standards in accordance with the Diocese of Harrisburg Technology Curriculum. During technology classes, grades K-5 receive weekly lessons in computer applications and web-based activities while refining 21st-Century skills such as digital citizenship, keyboarding, etc.
