Educational technology reinforces content presented in the core curriculum and provides direct instruction on the proper and ethical use of technology. Students in grades K-2 utilize an iPad, and students in grades 3-8 primarily utilize a Chromebook. All classrooms have instructional technology such as an interactive digital display, TV Media Solution, and other relevant educational technology tools.
Our teachers receive continuing education through annual technology in-service opportunities. The technology curriculum for students follows the Diocese of Harrisburg Technology Curriculum. During weekly technology classes, grades PreK4 through grade 8 receive lessons in computer science and digital citizenship. Students learn web-based educational activities reinforcing core content and refining technical skills
