6th-grade math is a continuation of all skills learned through the intermediate grades, including proportions, rates, operations with decimals, fractions, rational numbers, and data and statistics.
7th-grade math reviews and refines basic operations with fractions and decimals. New topics include solving complex equations, linear equations, integers, percentages, exponents, and square roots.
8th-grade students will tackle Algebra 1 topics, including solving complex equations, linear equations, quadratic equations, exponent, square roots, and systems of equations.
