David Knych joined us today from the Rotary Club of Carlisle--Sunrise to recognize Wyatt Clark as October's Student of the Month. The Rotary student of the month is a student who embodies the ideals of service and leadership that the Rotary promotes. Wyatt, an 8th grader at Saint Patrick School, is an active member of the Saint Patrick varsity soccer, basketball, and track and field teams and also competes on travel soccer and AAU basketball teams and in Rec basketball with the Carlisle YMCA Summer League. He has demonstrated service to the school by assisting with the stage crew for our drama program, serving on the Lighthouse team, helping with graduation festivities, setting up for picnics, and helping teachers behind the scenes. Wyatt also actively serves in the community, volunteering with Project SHARE, participating in the United Way's U-Turn Sale, working with Uriah's Community Days, and helping coach his little brother's soccer team. He is an honors student and a leader in the classroom. We are so proud of Wyatt, our October Student of the Month!
At Saint Patrick School, students earn Leader Tickets each time they're "caught" displaying remarkable leadership qualities or performing kind deeds. These students consistently shine, whether it's being a friend to someone in need, lending a helping hand to keep our environment clean, offering comfort to a hurting peer, or setting a positive example for their classmates.
We're incredibly proud of this month's recipients; Hugh O'Neil, Mycha Ferrante, and Andrew Taylor for embodying the spirit of leadership and kindness that makes our school community shine.
