Saint Patrick School's Innovation Center Vision
In a compelling study conducted by Learning.com spanning from 2012 to 2017, a startling discovery emerged: 75% of fifth and eighth graders lacked technology literacy. This finding underscores a critical issue that has far-reaching implications for students who will inevitably need to harness technology and advanced skill sets in their future careers. Enter STEAM education, a dynamic approach that propels students into a realm where they seamlessly incorporate elements of technology, computer programming, and engineering into their classwork and projects.We're renowned at Saint Patrick School (SPS) for our commitment to academic excellence. Our vision extends even further, providing enriched STEAM experiences to our students. The new Innovation Center (STEAM Wing) is realizing this vision, providing middle and elementary school students with an incredible space for hands-on learning experiences to empower them to thrive in an ever-evolving world.
The Innovation Center opened in January 2024.
